General amenities :
Shops in Cairanne cater for most essential needs with a butcher, baker, grocery store and news-agent. There is also a post office, bars and two restaurants. Larger super markets are to be found in the local towns of Orange and Vaison (15 min.).
Leisure Activities :
For those who love hiking or bicycling, there are numerous small roads and tracks in the local Ouvèze valley, on and around the Mont Ventoux and further south in the Lubéron (IGN map). Bicycles can be rented in Vaison la Romaine. Depending on the winter weather conditions, cross country and down hill skiing is possible on the north slopes of the Ventoux.
Horse-riding and excursions in light, four-wheeled carriages can be organised from Cairanne.
For those who play golf, you can choose between two very beautiful courses in the area, one in Saumane and the other one near Avignon (Châteaublanc.)
